Advantages of Wallbox Supernova
Supernova is a DC charging station for fast charging of electric cars. This is a new generation charger from the Spanish manufacturer Wallbox.
Its high efficiency and reliability maximize uptime, which will be beneficial for both EV drivers and charging station operators.
The main advantage of Wallbox Supernova is the possibility of simultaneous charging of two EVs with DC current. In this case, the peak power of 60 kW is shared between two electric cars - 30 kW for each.
This series is equipped with RFID/NFC reader, OCPP protocol and GSM module providing wireless connection to the central system,
monitoring and billing of the charging station and direct connection to the GO TO-U platform.
This station charges any EV or plug-in hybrid that can be charged with the DC charging option with the help of CCS Combo 2 or CHAdeMO connectors.
The charging station does not require any additional RFID cards: charging session is activated and paid for with the help of the GO TO-U mobile app.
In addition, using the GO TO-U platform, you can develop your own high-speed charging stations business and independently set the type of access to them.
With the help of our Back Office GO TO-U you will be able to see statistical data, use available PR tools to attract customers and decide on the operation mode of the charging station or network.
Due to 60 kW charging option, the EV can be charged up to 100 km of range in less than 15 minutes - this is enough to meet the average urban daily needs. While the EV drivers are enjoying refreshing drinks, finishing some small tasks or shopping for groceries, their EV will be charging. This charger is ideal for stations situated in public places in the city or its suburbs, as well as semi-public parking lots (including supermarkets, shopping malls or fast food restaurants). The actual charging speed depends on the EV model.
To ensure the maximum trouble-free operation, the Supernova charging station includes six independent power modules based on Wallbox's patented Quasar technology.
