Recently, at a meeting with investors on the results of the quarterly report, Elon Musk said that the new Tesla factory in the United States will be located in Austin, Texas. The CEO of Tesla also told some details about the future plant.

For several months, Elon had been choosing the city for production of the Cybertruck pickup, which, according to Mask, is his favorite model from the entire Tesla line. The finalists were Austin, Texas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma (that, as a matter of fact, even has the "golden statue" of the businessman). Musk noted the desire of the Tulsa authorities to cooperate with the brand and promised to "consider this opportunity" for future projects.

However, the choice was made in favor of Texas. The area in Austin, where the new factory will be located, will be open to the public, said Elon Musk. According to him, the facility will have sidewalks, hiking trails and bike paths.

"It will be an ecological paradise. Birds on trees, butterflies, fish in streams", - the head of the company promised.

In addition to Cybertruck, the Austin plant will produce Model Y and Model 3 for sale on the east coast of the country, as well as a Tesla Semi truck. The Austin factory will be the company's fourth facility in the United States - in addition, Tesla has factories in California, Nevada and New York. Finally, one of Tesla's plants is located near Shanghai, and another one is currently under construction in the Berlin suburbs.
